Community Assistance Fund
The Community Assistance Fund is a fund and program where an employee of the Fire District can spend up to $100 at their discretion to provide assistance to citizens in the District’s community they encounter in the course of their work who are in need.  The fund has been created from non-public funds, including donations made to the District and employee/volunteer contributions.

Automated External Defibrillator Grant Program
The District supports placing AEDs in public areas where large numbers of people gather.  In an effort to support those organizations that invest in an AED for their facilities, groups may request a cost-share grant.  This program relies on Community donations to fund a one-time, cost-share reimbursable grant.

Spirit of Christmas
The “Spirit of Christmas” provides Christmas gifts to families in need in Sisters Country during the holiday season.  Gifts are provided to roughly 250-300 area children each year.

Jim Gentry Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is created in honor of the memory of Chaplain Jim Gentry who served as the Chaplain to the Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire Department.  Local graduating seniors from Sisters or Black Butte Ranch ambulance service areas are eligible for the scholarship.

General Donation
General donations are used to provide smoke alarms to at risk groups including senior citizens and families with young children.  In addition to purchasing smoke alarms, funds may be used to purchase child safety seats or bicycle helmets for young children.
