Jeff Puller is a seasoned fire service professional with over 36 years of experience and currently serves as the Fire Marshal for the Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District in Oregon. Over the course of his career, Jeff has risen through the ranks from Firefighter/Paramedic to Deputy Chief, demonstrating deep expertise in fire operations, emergency response, and community safety.

Jeff leads the district’s Fire and Life Safety Division, which includes fire prevention, building inspections, code enforcement, fire investigations, public education, and oversight of the Fire Corps volunteer program. His leadership has played a vital role in enhancing fire resilience and life safety across the region.

He holds several advanced certifications, including Fire Officer IV, ICC Fire Inspector II, and NFPA Fire Inspector II, and is a certified paramedic. Jeff is recognized for his calm leadership, mentorship, and ability to collaborate across agencies to improve fire and life safety standards.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoys the outdoors as an avid fly fisherman, and also spends time hunting, mountain biking, and boating. He has been married to his wife Wendy for 32 years, and together they have a daughter, Kendyl Smith, who teaches agriculture education at Redmond High School.
