Jeff and his partner, Patricia, migrated to Sisters from Portland in 2016 after a career in public service. He served as executive director of the Oregon Progress Board from 1995 to 2005. From there Jeff served a five-year stint as executive director of community engagement for the state of South Australia and three years as deputy director of the Mayor’s Office of Operations in New York City. Soon after arriving in Sisters, Jeff was appointed to the fire district’s budget committee where he served until his election to the district board in 2025. Jeff has also served eight years on the board of SPRD; chair of Seed to Table’s board of director; and vice-chair of the City Parks Advisory Board. Jeff is an avid equestrian and enjoys numerous other outdoor activities.
